Our founder shared her story and why this situation impacted and inspired her to look into becoming a voice and support for the vulnerable women, Orphans ,teen mothers and Pregnant girls. In 2016 she started this foundation alone and by encouraging Vulnerable women and orphans with the word of hope, which is the word of God, and assuring them that God loves them and he cares for them. She could donate food stuffs to the patients and also donating tomatoes and cabbages and which she was farming to the hospitals and to an orphanage home in Solwezi ,North western. In 2019 David Larsen who is the co-founder joined her and they both continued to engage in helping out orphans and vulnerable women (widows) in a variety of ways. Donating school supplies, food ,cleaning supplies and spreading the love of God to these Orphans and widows. There are many orphaned children and widows in need.
In 2020 the founder started Teaching , training orphaned children and vulnerable women (widows) with craft skills and collaborated, with other partners including the orphanages to ensure that the beneficiaries are taken care of by the community and our organization. Some training is done under trees.
Building a vocational training center has been her dream in order to see that many vulnerable women get empowered with different skills and their lives are impacted, become self reliant and begin to support their families and uplift the economy in Mufumbwe ,North-Western, Zambia. However, we need a permanent facility to continue and grow our essential work with vulnerable women – a Community Centre! Our programmes are currently held under trees and in unsuitable environments for learning, without any privacy for the serious topics we discuss, nor protection from the heavy rains, limiting the support we can provide.
