INCLUSIVE, QUALITY EDUCATION
Every child has the right to access safe, inclusive, quality education. However, Over 5000 children and youth in the village of Mwampila in Chibombo are not in school because there are no schools nearby. In some cases, children must walk 5-7 km (3-4 miles) to and from school.
Girls, children with disabilities, those from minority groups, children living in poor and remote areas, and those living in contexts of conflict and crisis are most often denied access to education. This has far-reaching consequences on their futures and those of their families, communities and countries.
As Luketekelo, our belief has always been that through empowering children, we can change a whole society. As it is said, “It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken adults"
Children have small voices. Poverty is often a survival-of-the-fittest environment, and the voices of children are often drowned out. We wish to empower children to speak up for themselves and for their friends, family and community. Through our programs we have saved lives, got children fast-tracked into schooling, restored health to the malnourished and supported parents and guardians. For each child we work with, we hope for a happy and healthy future, and we work wholeheartedly to support their development

Our Biggest Challenge
We are currently supporting 65 children; however, an additional 255 children have joined us, eager to learn. Although this presents a challenge due to limited classroom capacity and teachers, our organization is committed to providing education to all. Our first building is being utilized as a home and classrooms. The building cannot accommodate all these children, and we are finding it difficult to turn any child away. Education is the most powerful weapon for changing the world. We are seeking financial assistance to construct actual classrooms, purchase more school desks, and acquire more school supplies, Construct Chicken Burn, Dinning Hall, Piggery house, Kitchen , Storage for the crops and hire more Teachers.
