INCLUSIVE, QUALITY EDUCATION
Every child has the right to access safe, inclusive, quality education .However, Over 5000 thousands children and youth in the village of Mwampila in Chibombo are out of school due to no schools near by and it takes children to walk about 5-7 km ( 3-4 miles )every day to and from school for those who are so passionate to be in school.
Girls, children with disabilities, those from minority groups and children living in poor and remote areas, and those living in contexts of conflict and crisis are most often denied access to education. This has far-reaching consequences on their futures and those of their families, communities and countries.
As luketekelo our belief has always been that through empowering children, we can change a whole society.As it is said that "It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken adults"
Children have small voices. Poverty is often a survival-of-the-fittest environment and the voices of children are often drowned out. We wish to empower children to speak up for themselves and for their friends, family and community.
Through our programmes we have saved lives, got children fast-tracked into schooling, restored health to the malnourished and supported parents and guardians. For each child we work with, we hope for a happy and healthy future, and we work wholeheartedly to support their development.

In 2016, we started addressing the need to keep children in school from primary through to high school through our Sponsor a Child program and we have supported more than 200 children with school Supplies . The next step was to provide more options for homeless and vulnerable and youths in Chibombo and Mufumbwe districts in Central and North-western Province of Zambia .
In September, 2023 we started building a home and a school for the homeless and vulnerable in Chibombo And a Safe place : for teenagers who are pushed into marriages
- Our goal is to have all children finish grade 12, lead to Sponsor a Future, confidence to understand future choices after high school.
-Breaks the poverty cycle: Sets a standard for the future generation to break the poverty cycle .And we plan to Construct a vocational training center for women and youth empowerment in Mufumbwe after completing the project in Chibombo.
Access to Women’s Rights: Our goal to have a minimum of 50% girls sponsored, with opportunity to participate in The Girl Impact programme, increased confidence levels, and access to health tools to increase their chances to stay in school such as menstrual health kits and educational programming.
